Right now, I am just pricing and seeing how much a gig like this is going to run. I'm not necessarily going to award any gig. I tried to use buddypress before this and it didn't work out, it just gets in the way and is too slow and the code is bad. Basically, it's a niche social network. Needs to have profile pages with activity streams, a lot of the stuff you see on other social networks, maybe have a blog, not sure. Also, there are other simple things that are my idea that I will not mention here, and it will have simple pages that feature certain things. sorry I'm vague but I don't like giving away my ideas. Users need to be able to create groups and forums(maybe use vbulletin) , and private message each other. I can help out and I want to, I can code static pages and take care of navigation...etc. Anything with html/css I can do easily. I am very familiar with jquery/javascript and I understand php but I can't code it off the top of my head. I've thought about just using this video series : [login to view URL] for php. I also could show you the website I made with buddypress to give you an idea of what I want. I'm only 18 and can't afford anything crazy. I'm looking for a good partner.
