I have manually set up two Wordpress servers through Amazon Web Services on virtual Linux machines. Administering servers is something I have done for four years now, gaming and web included. Firstly, I would install LAMP, then put phpMyAdmin on the server. An administrative IP address would need to be provided for specific logins to phpMyAdmin. Next, the latest version of Wordpress would be pulled from their website and installed, along with mySQL.
A document with all the usernames and passwords for phpMyAdmin, mySQL, and Wordpress will be provided. All commands will be run remotely from a terminal. On startup, all required services for the site will run. Proper file permissions will be set for the Apache server. Security measures will be taken to ensure malicious content cannot be added to the server nor backend information accessed. I can also configure port forwarding if needed.
Thank you for reading.
