Design a Wordpress Mockup

Hi all - I am very new to open source software and need some help working out which platform / plugins are right for my project. I have a manufacturing client that creates steel door frames and timber doors. We want to create a platform where customers can log in and create a new order based on their price list. We need to be able to build a product from a number of choices. So they start with a base frame size that they select from a list and then are presented with all of the option available that they need to choose. I need to be able to put rules in so that certain combinations of products are not allowed but it is quite a straightforward hierarchy to step through the questions and set the next option list based on the previous answer. I was looking at Magento and found a plug in called Product Configurator that seemed to have the functionality but I am not sure if this is the right platform. I have been looking at Wordpress but cannot find a similar plug in. I want the customer to be able to log in and see their existing and closed orders/jobs and be able to pull them back up to modify or use as a template for their next order. I also need the software to notify staff internally when a customer has added an order or modified one and then when it has been reviewed and approved internally the customer needs to be notified that the quote is finalised - this can all be done through emails. I then want to extend this project out to automatically creating production sheets for the factory but this is Phase 2. From what I can see it looks like I will need one of the platforms and number of plug-ins plus someone to customise the back end functionality and front end look and feel. Please note that there are not that many products and only about 20 options to select so it's not a huge list and the combinations are not that complicated. Can someone please point me in the right direction and get in touch to assist with getting this project done asap. I also notice that these platforms seem to only work on Linux which I don't have so I can't download them and test for myself. I expect to host the software in a data centre (Amazon possibly) and do not require it to be integrated with either their existing website or inventory or accounting software.
