Data Porting from Salesforce

A Tiny project to download data from sales force into our local mysql database. ========================================================== We want to write a small application to do the following 1. Connect to Sales force 2. Select an object (Account object) 3. download data from the object 4. Load it into a local mysql database. We need only the AccountID, First Name, Last Name and Address elements to be downloaded ( as sample list of columns is ok - we will modify the code to suit out needs later). This needs to be loaded into a pre-defined table in the mysql database. A simple project - would need a robust solution - with code capable of downloading more than a million records and loading it into my sql. Thanks !
