Async Gridview

I currently have multiple gridviews on a single page. Each gridivew is bound by its own objectdatasource which is calling different database queries. Currently it takes roughly 30 seconds for the page to load as it takes time for each query to run and then render the gridview. What I want to be able to do is somehow bind the gridviews in parallel ajax/async calls to greatly speed up the page load times. I found a way to async bind each gridview using the link below: [login to view URL] However none of my paging, sorting or grid row command events are being fired. First person to demo me a working version of my scenario with the events being fired will win the bid.
