Browser-Based JavaScript Editor

An rich editor to code JavaScript on the browser; therefore written in JavaScript, see [login to view URL] for a starting point. This example is a little bit primative but is freely available (no copyright). Please see the attached [login to view URL] for a view of what I want. To this example (or similair) I want to add typical editor functionlity therefore it must know about core JavaScript keywords and my custom API keywords. Some sort of structure would be searched with each key press(or maybe when ctrl+space) and keywords automatically completed or a (JavaScript)popup with known methods after period (full-stop)(.) . Features: - syntax highlighting for Javascript - code completion for known keywords - context sensitive pop-up - Keyboard aware (esc to close pop-up, ctrl+space to open pop-up when appropriate) - Tab button from keyboard to be implemented - Must be JavaScript only (No plugins or ActiveX) - output the content as raw javascript source - "Save" functionality is not important I have my own solution for getting and saving the file. - The example above is 10k; the solution should be less than (20k) The Editor must be aware of Core JavaScript keywords. The Editor must be aware of my Custom JavaScript API classes. I will have XML the describes all the objects and methods, so with a little XSLT this will be used to generate the JavaScript structures for the editor. Extras to consider ================== Automatic indenting using tabs based on {} would be a nice feature. Lines numbers would be another nice feature Could unidentified keywords be highlighted as errors in red? (easily) Please, when bidding, be *specific*.
