I need an utility class to integrate into an Android project that parses KMZ files and extract information to a Java structure. Two examples of KMZ files are in attach. Data to be extracted is: An array of zones with the following fields for each zone: zone id name decription type min_latitude min_longitude max_latitude max_longitude min_altitude max_altitude array_of_geopoints Each zone can have several geopoints, so we need also an array of geopoints that store info about the geopoints of each zone: id zone_id latitude longitude item_order I wait for proposals. I can implement class providing the functionality you have specified. Solution outline: Parse KML (unzipped from KMZ), focusing particularly on <Placemark> elements and their geometries to generate zones and geopoints. I am using XML in my Android apps also, and can therefore confidently offer proper solution.

I am very proficient in java. I have 12 years java developing experience. I have worked for 5 years, my work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the language is java under linux OS, sometimes use c++ a little. So, programming in java is never a problem. I used java to make many great projects. For example, I made the tools which can convert PWScript(a script language created by our company) to c++ files. I made our own mobile games, and i am mainly responsible for the server side, and it was built using java. I can even show you the mobile game client. Please let expert help you.

Hello I have following questions. 1. why you use item_order for geopoints of each zone? 2 can you provide the Java structure because it is the interface with your code? or I can define the Java structure as whatever needed? If latter, I can propose the Java structure for your review.
