Android Chat Application

First of all it is not a commercial application; it is an application that will be used for studying issues inside the university. The techniques to be used in the application: - Android Studio tool - Java - SQLite - If you are going to use another technology, please notify me about it. The deliverables: - Application screen layout. - Database. - Source Code. - Setup and Installation. Conditions in the project work: - Basic and strait forward code without complicated coding techniques which make it easy for me to understand, implement, improve and easy to teach. - Clear comments for every single code written (parameter, method, function, class … etc.). - Description of database; about: (tables, columns, connections and keys). - From this website "[login to view URL]" I want you to get a look at this theme: "[login to view URL]" and take it as a reference for your design, and I need to know what kind of technology you will use. Description of the project: It is an android mobile application, it is a chat application similar to WhatsApp application but more simple and easy with some features I want to add it on. Here is the description of the features: - Authentication for the user, he must sign in to start the application functions if he has an account or otherwise he must sign up, of Corse there is a "Forgot Password?" which will send an e-mail if he forgot the password. The user must enter these data in the sign up page: (Username, Password, First and Last Name, email, Mobile Number with the country code, Date of Birth and Gender). - The application read his contacts to create the "contact list", and then it will be updates automatically if new members join the application from his contacts to be added to the contact list. The contact list will have the users who have the application only similar to WhatsApp contact list. - The default page is the chat page which he can review his conversations and participate with it. - The user can start a new chat conversation with another user from his contact list. - The user can create a group, and to create a group he have to fill the following fields: (group name, purpose of the group, start and end date for the group (which will delete and disband the group when the end date comes), group picture and group members from the contact list), and then when he creates the group he becomes the admin. - The users can accept or decline to join the group, and when they accept to join the group they can chat, sharing media, accept or decline the events requests and can leave the group. - The admin of the group will have these new responsibilities: (add or delete members, change start and end date, change group picture, change group purpose, create events and disband the group). - The event can only be inside the group and when it is created it need the following: (purpose, date and time for the event, and the location as "an optional" for the event, then it will be send to all members of the group, and they have the right to accept or decline to join the event. - The Reminders will work only for the members of the group who join the event to remind them about the date and time of the event. - The user can share media inside the conversation and inside a group conversation like pictures from gallery, videos from gallery, location, camera pictures, camera video, contact card and a file which may be a PDF or whatever it is. - The "Flash Message" it is a message which can be sent from the user to another user for a period time that the sender determine and when the receiver read it the timer will start and when the time finish the message will be deleted.
