This is phase two of a previous project. This phase will accomplish these two things.
1. Create the ability for this table to edited with the results being saved to the source table using this resource: [login to view URL]
2. Adding of the Table Tools Multi-Instance feature ([login to view URL]) that allows the onscreen results to be printed, exported, copied, etc.
I have attached a sample screen shot of what Phase One of the project looks like along with the source code for that page. On the .jpg, there is a link at the bottom of the page that says, "show dialog." When clicked the orange popup appears where you select the columns you want to show.
The Table Structure is:
CREATE TABLE `tblTst` (
`aID` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`a_event` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
`a_tagF` varchar(20) character set latin1 NOT NULL default '',
`a_tagL` varchar(30) character set latin1 NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (`aID`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1691 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 PACK_KEYS=1
The starting model for phase one of this project was: [login to view URL] The following was accomplished.
1. Display the table like the [login to view URL] example above with all of the columns initially being displayed and sortable (has the same features as datatables)*.
2. Create a means so that different columns can be hidden or revealed.
3. Include the ability to resize and move columns.
4. Search filter so that only those that match are displayed. (the above example already does this)
5. Ability to limit that filter to only certain fields. (the above example filters on a the whole table, I want a way for it to filter on designated columns). There would have to be some way to pick the column.

My standard practice is to set up a milestone for 1/2 of the accepted amount in the beginning with the final milestone set up upon delivery of the initial prototype. For someone familiar with datatables, this should be a pretty quick project that I anticipate should not take more than a few hours. My expectation is that your bid would be comparable to a maximum of three to five hours of your hourly rate. If we find that the addition of these modules conflicts with what was done in phase one, the budget would be increased accordingly.
