We need to modify our Everest/icode website (out of the box everest website fully functional) to flow with our “Booking?? process. The Everest/icode website uses asp and vb to work with our everest MSSQL database. Currently on the Everest website, on the [login to view URL] page, the customer is given the opportunity to input a PO number, and ship date, these are our pickup time and pickup date, also there is a text box for order details/comments, which I believe is the document notes attached to the sales order, these doc notes are used to input the details of the ride. These three items that are currently on the [login to view URL] page are not relevant to us on this page, they need to be on the [login to view URL] page and gathered from the customer when they enter their estimated hours (quantity) for the chauffer service. We also need to control the gratuity quantity amount based on the estimated hours for the chauffer service.
What we’d like the checkout process to do (on the [login to view URL] page, so they can’t change or delete the gratuity amount) is to check the item in the cart (CHSF, or any other items in the cart) to see if gratuity is required, and if so, then add the non-web enabled item GRATSF and make the quantity of GRATSF match the quantity of item CHSF.
In So if the item(s) in the cart has the AddGratutiy checked, then it should read the ItemCodeForGratutiy for that item(s) and add that related gratuity item to the cart and calculate the quantity needed based on the quantity of the chauffer Service item.
More info attached.
