ASP code fix - eliminate race condition

We have a small online game at [[login to view URL]][1] where every 3 days the user tries to guess an airplane. every 3 days, the picture is supposed to roll over to a new picture. however, every now and then, 2 or more picutres show up in the same day. for example, look in this history of OCT29 and you see 2 airplanes - one (mosquito) was there clearly by bug. this bug also occured on oct 14 and on other days. we are fairly certain that this bug is caused by more than one user triggering the "new image" routines to run at the same time. in other words, it is some race condition / bug. your job is to fix the bug. the code is standard classic asp / ms access. nothing too exciting there. it is written reasonably cleanly. to win this bid, you must be a good asp programmer, preferably with a good RAC score. you will work with our programmer, sergey. ## Deliverables 1) code with bug fixed. we will provide the aviaquiz code to the winning bidder. no, we will not provide the code beforehand - as you can see, aviaquiz is a quite simple app and we do not want to give the code away. 2) hopefully you will come to understand why the bug occurs and will fix it. however, even after you mark the project complete and we deploy your fixed code, we can not be really sure that this bug is fixed until a long time and no reoccuracnces. therefore, you will need to agree to look into it at any time in the future should the bug come back. thank you! ## Platform classic asp
