Country Farms Gift Store

A student e-commerce application in ASP-NET. You will see that two us are needing something similar. I already have an HTML Home page, so that will be different than the other student. And I have some sample asp.net pages I can forward that I need incorporating into the project. 1st need at least 3 hyperlinks to 3 different asp.net web pages organized into categories such as "special occassion gifts, food items, and crafts". I have sample .jpg photos available of crafts etc for inclusion. VB.net is the programming language for the project. All pages will include a page directive; iutilize the [login to view URL] method in the page_load event and correctly display text in a web browser using the # .... tags to render the name of the online store. Need a user interface containing: 1 ASP.NET Web form and 3 different types of server controls. This interface should capture customer profile information with a simple registration form and provide a confirmation message at the bottom of the web page to welcome shoppers to the online store after they have registered. Pass at least 1 variable from the Web Form to the confirmation message. Need a user interface using at least one of each of the following: Branching, Jumping and Looping Statements. The interface should fulfill online orders from customer shopping for products in the online store. Also, the interface should validate data entered with one example of structured error handling with a Try...Catch routine and one example of unstructured error handling with an On Error Resume Next Statement. One of last steps is to expand gift categories to 10-15 and save them in an XML doc. This XML doc should be styled using a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) file) and display the data in the web app using a DataGrid Server Control. Last but not least at the end need to create 2 more ASP.NET web pages that interact with an Access DB. Show add,update, delete from DB (use [login to view URL]) to manage data store. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform I'm using VB-6 with .net SDK, ASP.NET WEB MATRIX Data Access 2.7 and Front Page 2002 in XP Pro. I have put the next due date as this Saturday midnight but the whole thing is due in "parts" each Saturday midnight for two more weeks.
