Create articles for posting on a web log called: [[login to view URL]][1]. The purpose is to provide valuable content to clients and prospects of a full service mortgage company that helps to increase new and repeat traffice to the blog and the related web site. Content should be meaningful and educational. Blog posts will be converted to an E-zine and sent out on a weekly basis. The total number of articles should be right around 40.
The first series of articles should be on Home Improvement and Construction in general. Here are some guidelines for your articles:
1. Home Improvement: a) A series of articles (10 to 15) on home improvements that actually add value to the home, how to plan, shop for, and save money on them. b) A series of articles (10 to 15) on how to evaluate, negotiate with, hire, and supervise a contractor for major home improvements or complete home construction projects. Focus on ways that a consumer can protect himself from cost overruns and typical contractor "tricks" to get more out of a job.
2. Construction: a) A series of articles similar to 1-b (10 to 15), but oriented towards the investor/developer who doesn't do his own contracting. Again, focus on planning the jobs, getting good bids, managing sub-contractors, dealing with draw/voucher systems, etc. b) A short series for the serious developer on ways to manage large jobs (5 - 8).
A topic may be covered in more than one article and would be presented as part of a series. See below for the definition of an "article." I will own the copyright to the work. I will prvide the winning bidder with a list of key words to be used within the articles.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
For the purposes of this bid, an "article" is considered a single 8.5" by 11" page MS Word Document (approximately), single spaced, using Times New Roman 11 point type, in English. The winning bidder will be given a list of Key Words to be used in the body of the articles.
