Create Drupal nodes from database

We need a custom interface for adding content to a site from a database. Basically, you will need to create an option to allow the user to enter an ID number. The software will then search the database for that ID number and populate certain node, CCK and Taxonomy fields based on fields in the database tagged with that ID number. There will also need to be an option for the user to add in 3 content fields during the process. The finished page will end up creating 3 new nodes (based on 3 content types) and insert data into node fields, CCK fields and taxonomy fields. We will provide more specific information once you are selected to work on the project.
