Changes to a flex squeeze based wordpress site

I've a wordpress site that uses flex squeeze. I need a minor change in it and it should be done without disturbing the wordpress flexsqueeze platform so that I can revert back to the current look later on if I want. All I want is the ability to add a right column to the current site (currently its just one page site) and that right column should show my recent blog posts and so if any one click on a recent blog post they should be taken to the blog post's own page and that page too should have the right column. One other change I want is that in the right column I have a second box (just below the latest blog posts box) which should show the 'pages of the site' (there is a different between pages and posts of wordpress site). I should also be able to turn of this box or the other or both when/if I want it. I also need that the site's load time is decreased to less than 2 seconds and that it gets a 90+ score on this performance site: [login to view URL] Send me a message and I will share the site's URL in private message.
