Audit Trail / Log POC & POT -- 2

I have a running intranet site, already have a mechanism for user and menu access management, everything from inside the web apps But we need more, we need audit log system for users that insert / edit / delete for important tables like Master table or Transaction table. the system need to be viewable inside the web apps, could trigger email and record historical value. NO database trigger if possible. Because we don't want to maintain separate audit table for each. For now, I just need a working POC / POT for a test table, the rest of the tables we will implement ourselves. ->revised to be: the deliverables are: 1. working CI pages with the logs management button using DataTables v 1.9, because the rest of the system uses that & every SQL files needed. 2. docs about how the audit system / trail works 3. information to be captured should be as complete as possible, such as: user ID, password, ip address, session ID, timestamp, historical value, etc. note: use of additional plugin / Javascript is welcome.
