Concert Hall Booking System

JAVA PROGRAM: A concert hall booking agency requires system which will manage booking of tickets for range of concerts. All bookings R done via a single receptionist, who is able 2 manage bookings 4 any of the [login to view URL] receptionist keeps a record of current state of bookings for each event. In the current manual system, the receptionist keeps a ‘booking sheet’ for each concert. This contains the title of the concert,the date of concert, hall where it is 2 take place (selected from a list),price of tickets (may depend on the seat), which seats have been booked (continually updated), whether or not booking is still open 4 the event. At present, receptionist operates a manual system: 4 every concert there is a unique booking sheet which shows each seat in the hall. The receptionist should be able 2: - select the booking sheet for a given concert (given title & date) - book a specified seat on the currently selected concert (booking sheet) - cancel a booking 4 a specified (booked) seat - close bookings 4 a concert (e.g. when it is over, or when it is cancelled). The Programme Manager This person decides what concerts R 2B put on, when, & where. They create new Booking sheet 4 each concert. Then they fill in the title, date, venue 4 the concert. Then, knowing the venue, they fill in the price for each block in the hall 4 that concert. They make this new booking sheet available 2 the receptionist (& 2 any other users).(Note: they don't really have 2 c all individual seats) cont. see zip file. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform To compile and run on JPad or JCreator, with minimum JDK 1.2. Windows NT, XP. ## Deadline information Any rough work, design work, partially completed demos to be forwarded by 24th NOv 2002.
