My bid assumes no desire for fall back methods such as Flash. I will create the player strictly with HTML5, and jQuery. I will create a jQuery library to load and control playback of files hosted on SoundCloud, and to fetch and display related information into a "now playing" container. I will provide an HTML file containing the needed structural elements and loading code that will need to be copied to your page. I will verify functionality on modern browsers, but will not spend any time catering to older browsers or browsers that do not support the audio element.
