Complete work on existing site

Hi Guys, I have a project that has been started by another guy and I have been asked to finish off the required amends, the existing website is: [login to view URL] The amends from the client: 1. Admin panel working so we can load more stories etc on it every week. 2. Back page banners to match homepage. 3. Contents listed in order 4. Star rating to be fixed 5. How to make panel to be fitted 6. Remove pay pall 7. Allow for membership listings, free membership 8. Generally sort out the mess that the site is in and get it working,then when it is up and running think about a new site. Although this is the list given at the moment, please bear in mind this client will probably be in direct contact with you with further updates. I would like you to include small amends in the price you quote (eg. moving text around, changing colours, fixing browser issues, anything that would help towards completing the existing sites functionality). However any extra development costs with new functionality will be quoted for. I currently do not have much time to micro manage this project so I would expect you to be able to contact the client directly using an email which I will set up for you. This being the case you must have excellent English, if you English is not up to standard then please do not apply. If you are based in England then that is even better. Important skills you MUST have: - Extensive PHP knowledge - Knowledge of MVC framework - Experience creating sites with Joomla and Drupal - Excellent English - very important - CSS - XHTML - Javascript and jQuery - Usability - Photoshop - Design skills When applying for this job, rather than using the normal copied and pasted portfolio I would like you to show me your English by describing the job you must do in your own words. I am sorry I have to ask for this but I have had people apply before who can barely speak a word of English. Please also include websites you have built in the past.
