I need help in creating a context menu on the fly.
Say, when a user opens an email in outlook, it checks for attachments.
If attachments are found, It will add a context menu.
If that email already has the context menu, it will not re-add it.
Once they click on the action, it will bring up a form.
(see the deliverables section for more details)
## Deliverables
Here is a code snip of what I have.....
Private Sub my_inspector_event(ByVal mInspector As [login to view URL]) Handles [login to view URL]
Dim objItem As Object
Dim objAction As [login to view URL]
If [login to view URL] > 0 Then
objItem = [login to view URL](1)
If [login to view URL] = [login to view URL] Then
If objAction Is Nothing Then
objAction = [login to view URL]
With objAction
.Enabled = True
.Name = "Send to File Server"
'.ShowOn = [login to view URL]
.ShowOn = [login to view URL]
End With
End If
End If
End If
objItem = Nothing
objAction = Nothing
End Sub
I can do this, but I'm having 3 problems.
1-When the inspector is launched, it keeps adding extra context menu items.
I need it to only add it once.
2-When my custom action is launch, it does load my form, by then it always
opens up the email, like if I were to reply to the user.
3-Finally, the main objective of this program is to copy the attachment to a location.
How would I get a handle to the attachments in the email, rename the files,
and copy them to a file server path.
I need the source code for this.
I'm using Windows 2000, vb.net (com addin project), and outlook 2000
