Build a Website/Database/App

Date: 05/12/2014 Project: Database/Website & App development. Brief: I require the successful candidate/company to undertake works in relation to a back end database, front end website & an App which communicates with both of these. I am currently producing a product, which utilizes RTLS (real time location systems) to track people within a set area. We have suitable hardware, which effectively tracks tags that are worn by each person and relays this information back to a database. This element of the project is fully functional and operates successfully providing a floor plan showing peoples locations over the Internet. We require the successful candidate to take this raw location data and create a back end database that can sort each tags information into useful metrics. Such as time taken to walk from point A to point B for example. We also have the need to input additional metrics into our database by means of an App, this ensures additional information can be added into our database which would usually be difficult to track on an automated basis. Such as a task that was completed within a set time period. Both sets of information will be brought together and displayed on a website where individuals can log in and view information. Works can be split into three distinct parts. Back End Database This will effectively link to our current product and customize the data we receive from each tag into relevant information. For example, we already receive back exact location details of each tag, we would like to use this data to work out how quick an individual gets from Point A to B, the total distance someone has traveled whilst on shift etc. Along with other metrics. Front End Website We require a website which can display information from our hardware and also information from our App which is added into our database. This will consist of a log in page and an additional 4/5 pages where relevant information can be displayed for individuals and managers to view information. App This App will act as a “master unit” where tag information can be added at a start of a shift (tags active within set area) and then additional information can be sent to the database about each tag as and when necessary. For example if tag 1 completes a task, the manager could click on tag 1 and select what task had been achieved.
