Hi,
I am looking to have a Windows executable program created that will let me do the following.
It will be allow me to make a custom exe file that a client will run and will install a new Program Group on their PC along with an un-install option.
For example if I have 2 ebooks and 4 word documents that make up a Super Package, instead of the client downloading 4 different files, the client will download one exe file that will create a Program Group called Super Package (or what ever name I want to use) and then a sub group of Ebooks and Documents which will contain 2 files each.
Basically what I want to be able to do is run the created program and have it ask me what I want to name the Program Group. I also need it to ask me if there are any subgroups and what they are called. Then it should ask me what files I want to add to the subgroups. Once the client runs the exe file this program will create it will install the Program Group and also put the files into the Program Files directory on the clients PC.
It should also ask the client two other things other installations ask:
Do you want to create a Shortcut to Super [login to view URL] on the desktop?
Then it should offer to have a Readme file or Launch a specific file at the end.
This program will create a custom install program for me, I would like it to be simple to use and I also wish to have the resell rights to the program as well.
If you have any questions, as I'm not sure if I explained it enough, please send me a PM.
Thanks,
Gary
