Create system to extract text from jpeg's via OCR The end result will be a series of products: I.e. Boneless Breast Chicken Cutlets $2.79 per lb Country Fresh Grade A (Product Name, Price, Description) We would need to save valid through date, which equals "6/6/2013" This will be a technically challenging project for two reasons. 1.) Some of the flyers are hard to read, i.e. the image resolution is not great 2.) The text is not in standard format Here is how the script should work: 1.) User would select "associated" from drop down. 2.) User would be able to upload an image of page 1 of the flyer (associated is jpeg) (the image could be stored locally or via a URL link) 3.) System would display each product in the correct format (product name, price, description) as well as valid through date Skills required: OCR, PHP
