Hello everyone: I have Asterisk server version1.6 running on Ubuntu 12.0. Asterisk is connected to a gsm Gateway via sip. I want to prevent asterisk from calling premium numbers because their rate is very high. These numbers do not have certain pattern and can't be distinguished from other numbers with normal rate. The only thing we have is that when asterisk calls such numbers, an ivr is played to alert the customer about the rate cost. After the message and if the person does not hangup,it start to ring. So, this ivr is what distinguish premium numbers from others. The only task of this project is to make asterisk dial the number and if it hears ivr instead of the ring, hangup.

Hi, Can you please give me some more details about the configuration of the IVR. You can configure this IVR as announcement. Then it should immediately hang up after being played. Thanks Vishwa
