Add-on needed for news posting script

We're using a newsboard script called PSNews on www.tnaheadlines.com. The entire script is obviously file based and features "templates". Recently, we changed up the templates a little bit but we noticed that old news posts do not get reverted to the new template. In order for the old posts to get reverted to the new template, we have to manually go into the admin panel and click "edit post", open the article and just click "Finish editing" without actually having to make any changes. This gets annoying since there are thousands and thousands of posts so what I want is this.. Something that can "edit" all of the articles with 1 click of a button. There are thousands of articles and I don't even know this is possible. Obviously you must be very good with CGI and know how to work with this script.. so if you can do this, please bid..
