Construct an histogram from time series and calculate bandwidth in R

I have some time series which I want to construct the histogram, find the optimal binwidth and find the optimal bandwidth h. My main goal is to get the bandwidth. I need the code in R. This is one model I found but as I'm very new in R, I don't really understand what's is going on. > library(MASS) > par(mfrow=c(1,2)) # Make device region 1 by 2 > attach(geyser) > hist(waiting,prob=TRUE) > lines(density(waiting)) # Add density to Histogram > plot(density(waiting)) # Create density by itself This code give one histogram and another graph with the bandwidth value. See pdf file attached. So, I need a coder with experience in R and histograms. Don't consider skills needed since these are just to enter 5 mandatory virtual skills. Thank you. Taaroa
