Wouldn't it be simple to implement this in Excel? Greetings, I've authored books on Java, C++ and Data Structures, and have over 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer and consultant. I am an Excel expert and provide training on business solution development using Excel with VBA. I am working largely on python scripts these day, and a script like this shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours to build. I am assuming the format will be Stock-Ticker | Date | Open | High | Low | Close. And, we have to count the number of times that High for Day (D+1) was 1.2 times or higher than Close for Day D. Please let me know whether this assumption is correct or not.
