Build a streaming Python numpy Class

I want to have a well (inline) documented, structured, clean and properly abstracted Python class of a paper. The class has to be streaming, so process one sample at a time. One sample in, one sample out. Someone already implemented this paper for me in Python/numpy (you can have that code as a reference) but made a complete mess of the abstraction and did not properly understand streaming so was using the filtfilt method instead of the filter method using the state to be able to go sample for sample. Please do this right. After the processing done by the paper there has to be also some peak detection which has to be real-time on the fly as well. Please include an demonstration main that shows it is working. Find attached the example code and two input files that will work using the example to give you an idea of the raw signals. The example code contains an url to the paper.
