Need API help with a little project #UPDATED

I need an experience VB6 coder that has great knowledge in the areas of CreateCompatibleDC, CreateCompatibleBitmap. Here is the case: ? I am creating a application that paints effects into an Device context (DC) and that works fine as long as the DC not is very large (width*height) ? Here is the code used to create the DC: ================================================ ' Create the device context. CanvasRenderDC = CreateCompatibleDC(hdc) ? ' Create the bitmap. mem_bm = CreateCompatibleBitmap(hdc, Wid, hgt) ? ? ? ' Make the device context use the bitmap. orig_bm = SelectObject(CanvasRenderDC, mem_bm) ================================================ ? This normally works fine, but under some circumstances this fails, I think there are some memory issues. This seems to happen when Wid and Hgt are height e.g. (4000*3000). ? I need an developer that could make a fix to this problem.
