Actionscript for automating changes in a large number of Photoshop files

I have hundreds of multi-page photoshop files that I need to modify in standard ways. The ways involve: changing background colors on specific layers, changing colors of certain elements on certain layers, changing colors of certain text on certain layers, changing text, removing certain layers. There are two types of files, so possibly two scripts. There are 6-12 steps to be performed (e.g., "change the font color to black", "change the gray boxes in the “ABC” section labeled as “Rectangle #” from the current GRAY color (HEX #50676f) to BLACK. ", "change yellow shapes to blue"....)
