Hello, I am looking for someone to create an app for my business, its main purpose is to allow us to send notifications to our customers of events that we are running based on their preferences. We run multiple events each night all over Melbourne and our current SMS system is failing due to carriers blocking us because of excessive SMS messages getting sent. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, you will be unable to access the database we hold at the moment so this new app will need to be independent of any database we have at the moment. Here is my idea of how it will work (needs to be on both iPhone and Android) - Customers will download the app and input their membership number which will go back to a new database that records they have downloaded the app. This database needs to record when they stop using the app and also dates that they downloaded or deleted the app - Customers will have a list of event locations that they can choose to sign up for which we will use to send them notifications for locations they have selected - The app will include basic contact information such as facebook page etc. - The app will have a computer based administration section that will allow us to send notifications on demand as well as track users currently using the app I have restricted the information available in this post however I will be more open to anyone that shows they have the knowledge to be able to create an app for us The successful applicant will have a full understanding of how we conduct business in order to create a better system for our messaging.
