I am Col K S Rana, who served the Indian Armed Forces for almost 33 years. This long professional carrier is not necessarily spent in operations or fighting on boarders. A lot of planning and written instructions are required for the effective dissemination of the instructions down to the lowest levels. It is during this transient period which, I believe, honed my writing skills.
I deserve the writing assignments as I feel that I have the knack of identifying and understanding the subject matter easily. I have strong comprehension of human behavior under stress and duress. How people act and react under such conditions is not unknown to me.

" On 28 Sep 14, I could not sleep throughout the night. I watched the program at Madison Square Garden on television to the finish and, perhaps day dreamt, thereafter, of a Great Bharat re- emerging from its badly mauled state and being restored to its pristine glory, un-comparable in its prestige, knowledge, skills and compassion. Many times, in the course of your speech to the Indian diaspora, a football formed in my throat and it almost choked me. It was, the moment, perhaps, of glory and being a witness in my life time of frenzy, pride and out pour of emotional sway for my Prime Minister in a foreign country which always claimed its right on the worldwide... "
