We are an e-commerce brand looking for an experienced blog writer. The blog focuses mostly on lifestyle, health and environmental issues. This will be an ongoing project with about 2-4 assignments per month. Topics will range from things like yoga and nutrition to water conservation and composting. Formats will include things like how-to’s, listicles, write-ups, and features. Articles between 500-4000 words. We will tailor topics and choose specific assignments depending on your area of expertise. I need somebody who can dive in, take direction but also take the reigns and get creative. English must be your first language OR you have demonstrated a strong command of the English language. You should be comfortable researching the web for data-backed topical articles. Must be able to adapt to our brand voice. You will be a ghostwriter - no bylines. We will need to touch base to discuss blog topics over Skype or phone so this should be possible as well. Assignments will pay by the word. Rate TBD based on experience. Process and deliverables: You’ll be assigned a blog topic with a suggested headline, a 5-10 sentence description of the topic and the main objective of the article You will research and write the post You will submit the post by deadline Required: Highly-skilled content writer Highly skilled in SEO and keyword research Knowledge of content marketing best practices Experience writing lifestyle content including but not limited to health, nutrition, yoga, clean water, environmental issues Experience writing shareable content for a target audience Track record of writing well-researched articles that drive traffic and conversions Perfect command of the English language You are a great fit if you: Know what I mean by perfect prose Excellent grammar Detail oriented Communicate clearly Can adapt to a brand’s voice Dedicated to meeting project deadlines Think outside of the box on a range of health trends, current events, and culture Have an interest or have experience/education in health, nutrition or environmental issues If you meet most or all of these and you are interested, please reply with 2 writing samples, prior experience, email address and Skype ID.
