UPDATE I have received and appreciate the multiple offers received. This has maade me look more carefully at the project requirements, and indeed to purchase / assemble the proposed hardware - to see what works and what doesnt. There's no point writing code for a platform that can't deiver, and i'm hoping to prove the hardware in the next few pandemic weeks. As it gets closer, I'll start to chat with my top-ranked bidders, and see what needs to be dome to develop a workinmg relationship. Hi there, you should go for ESP32, one of the most powerful processor there is as Raspberry Pi is too much for what you are looking for ESP32 is extremely cheaper, it runs on 2 cores @ 240MHz It dully and directly supports C/C++, and yes you can achieve real time operations ( parallel multi threading) with state machines, timer events or multi tasking It has on board SoC for BLE, Bluetooth Classic and WiFi supporting both AP as well STA modes It supports modem connection(SIM7600) over UART interface concurrent/parallel tasks, timer events as well as RTC are dully supported as well not to mention WDT and sleep modes It has lot of GPIOs for your sensors and actuators f any I have immense skills dealing with ESP32, kindly send me a message so I can send you a 200 lines sample code please
