Create Transparent TIFs for Pagemaker

Before I switched to Mac, I was able to import TIFs from my Finale Music Notation program into my Pagemaker 7 publications, and the TIFs would be transparent. Lately, however, since I began running Windows XP within my Mac, the TIFs i get aren't transparent. I used to know a tweak in Photoshop that allowed me to make them transparent, but I've forgotten it. I need someone to tweak the TIF supplied in the sample, import it into the sample Pagemaker file, prove to me that it works, then teach me how yto doi it. Many people are instantly confident that they know how to do this, but a little experimentation shows that what should be working isn't. Before you bid, please look at the sample Pagemaker file, in particular page 2. There I want you to place your transparent TIF. Then include a PDF of the Pagemaker file in your bid, showing your ability to create the transparency.
