This is a simple frontend task that should take less than 2 hours to complete. Please use ES5 in all your implementations if possible. Please message me if you have questions. 1. Design a small library that will search for any <span> element that has text in it (exclude any span element that has child elements other than text) a) and searches for a given x value and prepends it with a given y value. For e.g. Calling [login to view URL]("you", "hello "); will find all <span> elements with text "you" in it and replaces it with "Hello you". b) or capitalizes the text in the found elements. For e.g. Calling [login to view URL](); will find all <span> elements with text in it and capitalizes the entire text. c) (optional) and should be easily extensible so that users can extend your library with their own function and manipulate the elements that your library found. (Similar to jQuery extend) 2. Implement a custom dropdown menu that operates like the HTML <select> element using only HTML elements (other than the <select> element of course) and vanilla javascript or jQuery.
