Simple email autoresponder written in Python

I require a simple email autoresponder designed for my website, written in Python 2.x using the standard, available and supported libraries; including but not limited to: sqlite, smtplib, re. I don't care if you rip, scrape, reuse or kill for the code you use. As long as it's neat, bug-free, and most of all WORKS. The script must: Check all new emails that have arrived in the mailserver (via IMAP), for the accounts I specify Send responses via the mailserver (via SMTP) using the accounts I specify. Extract the information I specify from the received email, and store a unique ID identifying the email, name, email, time/data, and number of responses sent/received in an sqlite3 local db file. Create and reference, in the sqlite db, a folder where the file attachments can be found associated with that email Be able to ignore certain file attachments and emails with certain text, that I will specify Send a number of different, timed, responses that I specify. Determine the response sent by specific checks of the email contents, using simple branching logic. Be able to accept instructions from the stdin pipe (start, stop and perhaps others) Be able to send status messages via the stdout pipe Be written in Python 2.x, and run without a problem on Linux (Specifically Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS) as well as Windows 7/8 (won't require piping on Windows). Have the ability to send HTML email if supplied Reach the inbox. It must not: Produce errors that result in the script editing or looping out. Send to the same email, the same message, more than once. Trigger any kind of spam filter via its crafting, content or use of incorrect headers (this will only be sending 500 or so emails a week, so don't worry about advanced antispamming techniques THIS IS NOT FOR SPAM Contain unreadable, uncommented code (please keep it neat and commented, I may need to edit it myself) If you're interested, are a good communicator; and want the opportunity for plenty of return work if you perform well, please bid on the project.
