Hi, I have read your attachment file carefully. I have experience in designing similar project like what you're developed now, But instead using separate voltage and current measurements, I used ready to use Energy meter IC, ADE7753. It's single phase energy meter. for 3 phase, we can use ADE7754, both are SPI based interface(I guess it will match your Shield concept specification), that can read both current and voltage of 3 phase. it also provided energy calculation like Power in Watt, VA, VAR, and even total harmonic. I guess now it's Arduino library has been developed by someone. But I don't know wether it's Arduino w based shield is available or not now, we can looking for it. My system are same with yours, read power data on every phase, display it to the LCD, and read it's current and if it above thresshold value, it will tripped a power relay. it's my lecturer dissertation project, and I help him implementing his tripped algorithm on board. Let me know your response about it. Beside that, I have all experience needed for your complete module. like 4G module, PCB design, and I think LM2596 Is enough for this project. I have design PCB and became firmware programmer since 2012 and I have designed lot of project from Hobbyst to Military purpose. I always following design guide in order to make my design work propperly. I have my own work flow when it comes to Arduino based project. I have read your project and you have lot of requirements Arduino MEGA may run out of memory due to three serial/other module (bluetooth, Ethernet, 4g module) usages. My background is motor control and I have worked on a number of different approaches to this problem depending on the component budget. I have used all of theses approaches in power monitors or motor drives in the past: Potential solutions are: Non isolated invasive shunt based current measurement and resistor divider to measure voltage. Advantages - very low cost, high bandwidth. disadvantages - non isolated, invasive transformer to measure voltage and current transformer to measure current. (same approach as open energy monitor) advantages - isolated, low cost. disadvantages - not as accurate esp wrt phase shift and harmonics, low bandwidth Using isolated (LEM style) voltage sensors or hall effect sensors advantages - accurate, isolated, medium bandwidth. disadvantages - expensive. Using shunt and resistor divider to measure current and voltage, isolated with digital isolator. advantages - very accurate, high bandwidth. Disadvantages - invasive, expensive Let me know what your requirements are and I can tell you which of these approches will work best
