ultra low power consumption logger with esp8266 with another MCU - 04/12/2017 08:20 EST

Hello, Hardware specs:- I need a PCB design for the following requirements 1. ultra low power consumption 2. esp8266 included 3. Althinker A6 GSM module included 4. Arduino compatible platform 5. timers 6. IO interrupts 7. Buzzer speaker included 8. micro USB for flashing included 9. booster low quiescent step up included 10. MCU to get reads and saves them and to cut off power on the esp8266 and A6 untill it needs them. 11. 3 KB of free memory for storing the clicks. My idea is to have 5 buttons connected to a MCU which is sleeping and when i click on these buttons the mcu will wake up using the interrupts and then the mcu will save the clicks untill a timers in the mcu will through out and make the mcu to wake up or turn on the esp8266 or althinker A6 depend on configuration (by the way esp8266 and A6 should be in deeps sleep mode or turned off using mosfet ) and when the mcu timer through out the mcu will turn on one of them and will try to send these clicks data through the internet (WIFI on the esp8266 or GSM on the A6). The MCU should not have alot of power consuption because the whole pcb should be battery based AA or even D size and should operate for a year on this batteries. I have did this platform already but i need another way to make it with lowest cost as possible, my idea is to use a ready made chips and connect them to get this platform running we can use 1. STM32F103C8T6 or STM8S103F3P6 or STM32F030F4P6 or Atmega328 for the MCU 2. sure we will use ESP-01S ESP8266 chip 3. sure we will use Althinker A6 chip 4. we could use Attiny85 or Attiny13 as the sleeping MCU to get the data then send these data after a while to STM32F103C8T6 which can save more data. some good links [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Regards
