Hi I am a excel and vba whiz and have 2 patents too. The job stated is quite standard and can be achieved pretty easily. I have converted excel data to a database in the past. The architecture will be like this. We'll have a central database with user access for different users to add and modify data in it. An excel will also created connecting to the database and build reports using the data entered using the web application. What you need to conclude is the environment you need. Alternatively if you want i can host the database as well as web application in my environment but will charge separately for that. Having said that i do not recommend having access accessing the central database. If you do not need a web application we can create an excel form for that. Access is too restricting in dealing with external databases. Having worked in professional organizations like Apple, Microsoft, Boeing i know what a professional deliverable is and will be able to guide and implement this.
