16-Page Brochure

We need a great designer for a 16-page brochure we are making. It will vary from articles, to big spreads, to graphs and timelines and more. General Layout • (1) Cover: Will match our company stylesheet, use the same logo and be very creative • 2/3: Opening remarks from people involved in the organization, table of contents, pictures, masthead . • 4/5: Data – a few tables and charts. We give you the data and you should make some nice charts and tables with them on our advisement. + pictures • 6/7: More Data - similar to 4/5 + a timeline that will need to look bold + article boxes (briefs) + pictures – timeline needs to pop and have sub plots on it (timeline boxes, for example we want to detail certain dates in the organization’s history). • 8/9: MAP – we will provide a map sized roughly to the spread. You need to make it fit perfectly with the fold, etc. • 10/11: Article with pictures • 12/13: Article with pictures • 14/15: Article with pictures + perhaps a photo collage if there is room • 16: Back cover (very simple – two or three lines of text – we may even provide!) Details: • This is a full-service job, meaning design and layout, headers, footers, making things fit and look good. • 8.5”x11” with bleeds – our printer will provide exact specs. Artwork delivery in high-res, etc. • Design should be high-end, modern and stylish – we will notice you taking shortcuts and that will not end well! • Did we mention the design needs to look GREAT? We will provide the images and the copy that make things GREAT but you need to deliver the awesome layout, white space, and overall design elements. • Expect revisions and then more revisions as this is internally reviewed . • We require all work files before release of escrow. • 50 percent of escrow will be released upon our approval and another 50 percent following printers approval of artwork. • Providers should have good English skills, be able to communicate reliably through email, be very patient, have a portfolio to show us – and be willing to go above and beyond. • Subpar work will result in not getting paid.
