Logo Design

See attached example logo, but I want Dwight's face simplified down to the bare essentials needed to recognize him but still be simple enough for a clean looking logo. I'd like to have his features trimmed down to make it sort of "cartoonish". The hair, glasses, and mouth seem like essentials to recognize him, so please play with those to see what features to keep/simplify. Regarding the text, I want something similar to what I have in that sample logo, but it can probably be improved upon. I like the strong font with the wide look. I like the clean letters without any kind of "points" at the ends of letters (like times new roman has). I was also thinking of a design where "DWIGHT" and "DEFENSE" is stacked, with the face just to the left of the words. This can obviously be moved around and changed pretty easily once we have the face design and a font chosen. To give you some background, the nature of the business is to produce comedic content through familiar characters for members of the military and law enforcement with the intent of raising morale. We want to apply this logo to shirts, coffee mugs, patches, etc. The perception we're going for is to appeal to satirical professionals. Some competitors can potentially be Grunt Style or Ranger Up.
