I have a bachelors degree from Frostburg State University (FSU), where I majored in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. As a writer/editor with the University’s Newspaper, The Bottomline, for the past two years, I have published over 20 articles. I am skillful with many Microsoft applications, including Word (typing 70 w.p.m), Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign. Other skills include writing novels, short stories, and poems. Last summer, I successfully completed the Government Leaders for Tomorrow (GL4T) program with the Department of Health and Human Services. This summer I am interning with the United States Fish and Wildlife Bird Habitat Conservation as a Communications intern. I am a highly responsible and reliable student with outstanding leadership ability, as evident by the responsibilities that have been entrusted to me by FSU as a Resident Assistant (RA), providing support and guidance to dormitory students.
