I would make an admin panel where you could manage the job categories, users and projects. - User registration / log in, email activation and forgot password - Users would be able to post an ad with work they need done and would be able to see a list of their posted jobs, access any of them and see the bids by companies - I imagine a feed of jobs to be seen by all users (and guests?) where one can search and use categories to find the ads they are interested in - If the user (company user) is interested, they can pay to get the contact info of the person that placed the ad, and they could chat online directly from within the web app (real time chat) - when the company pays to get in touch and the job is concluded I guess it would be nice to had a feedback left by both the company and the user looking for a service (5 star + text) - Each user needs to have a profile page (onto which everyone can access?) where we show the users feedback as service seeker / service provider, and possibly a few more fields, but probably shouldn't disclose any contact info as that would allow bypassing the payment by companies The code would be clean, organized and commented where needed. PHP (CodeIgniter framework) on the backend, one node.js script which handles chat. The front end would be responsive, I'd use Bootstrap 4 as the CSS framework.
