OBJECTIVE
The IOHSGP's objective is to develop Educational and Islamic games for children. The games will be created based off the Eemaan Reading Series by Dr. Bilal Philips. The Eemaan Reading Series has 9 different grade levels, and as such each game must be tailored for each level. The purpose of the games is to make learning English fun.
DELIVERY SYSTEM
The Islamic Online Home School, inshallah, will be a web based school where children can sign in and learn different subjects for their grade. As a result the IOHSGP will also be available online, with possibly downloadable options, physical shipping options, and possibly an app in the future.
CHARACTERS
The characters in the games will be based off pre-existing characters from the Eemaan series. If the characters are deemed unsuitable, then new ones will be created for the purpose of the games. The characters should be likable, fun, and colorful. The children playing the game will be of all nationalities, and so should the characters they play.
GAMEPLAY
There will be a number of games for the child to play at each grade level. It is possible to have a different game per book in each grade level, but initially there will only be two or three. The games will be playable at any point, but it's best to play them after their corresponding book. The gameplay will each be an unique experience for the child. They are not meant to be generic or stale, but must truly be the best and well thought out games we can develop. They should have colorful backgrounds, smooth animation, and exciting audio. The complexity of the games may be simple depending on the grade level, but the presentation should still be top notch.
STAFF
Currently the IOHSGP is looking for Flash Developers knowledgable of Action Script and HTML5 to program the games. The games mainly consist of point and click, with no side scrolling or physics engine. In the future we are hoping to have those games as well, but currently it's just point and click.

I'm an experienced Flash/Actionscript developer and I'm very interested in this project. I'm specialized in developing Flash applications and games that work online on websites, on facebook as Facebook apps, locally as standalone applications (CD deliverable and downloadable) and could be ported to mobile apps as well.
I'm specialized in Flash programming and I have a friend named "Nebil" who is a very good graphic designer and artist if needed. We are both very interested in working on Islamic oriented projects.
I think that we need to discuss further more the mechanics of the games and if the graphics will be made by us or your team etc. After that we should be able to define an accurate price for the games.

My name's Sherif, I'm a flash developer located in London UK with 7 years experience, currently working in the gaming industry, facebook and mobile.
I've had a look at the attached images, and they look great. I want to say I think it's a brilliant idea and wish you all the best due to the lack of similar content for Arabic speaking children.
Have you got more information on the games you require? I understand they have to be fun and engaging, but if you have more details that would be great.
My bid is for 20 games (2-3 per grade X 9 grades). I understand this will be a long term relationship and I hope we can work together on this project.
I'm a Muslim, from Egypt and I speak both Arabic and English perfectly. I'm aware this has no technical weight, however an understanding of the culture and language would definitely be beneficial to the project.
