Using Jquery bind svg :hover / onclick to open accordian

the page in question can be found here [login to view URL] the working project has been simplified and attached. I am referring to the SVG map of Australia / with accordion (halfway down the page). When a user hovers over an SVG area i want the corresponding accordion-item to highlight in the same color. On clicking the area on the map i want to trigger the accordion item to expand (revealing the details of the area selected). I do not want any third party libraries outside of what is currently used on the project. Jquery must be written inline at the bottom of the html document. A custom css has been provided labeled ausmap.css. I am also a developer and am confident this can be achieved easily. Please do not waste my time if you feel this project will take longer than 4 hours as I can do it myself. I am looking for someone who can do this quickly with good skills / best practice. This is an easy project and will leave a great review to whoever can help on this project. I look forward to working with you !
