I'm creating a countdown clock. I have some of the javascript code written already but it has a few bugs in. The countdown timer should: - last for 14 minutes and 24 seconds from the time the user visits the website, - stay active and counting down, even if the tab is inactive, - chime at the end of the countdown and display an option to repeat. The code I have written manages the first two tasks - it counts down and it holds an accurate count even when the tab is inactive - however it does not *always* chime and does not *always* show an option to repeat the countdown. Sometimes the countdown simply continues. I'm looking for somebody to help fix this so that it works across all mainstream browsers: Chrome, Firefox and Safari, without the use of WebWorkers.
