Looking for System Engineer Linux

To create SUSE Linux OS on two R740 application server hosts. To create 2 set of OS cluster, namely ASCS and ERS. To perform Automated failover for ASCS and ERS by using SUSE HAE. To perform Controlled Data Replication using HAE + DRBD To perform SUSE Linux OS installation and Cluster between two HANA DBs To create SUSE Linux OS on 3x R740 application server hosts (2x Prod, 1 non-Prod). • Verify that the customer has available any necessary attachment hardware and/or rack accessories • Prepare to install the storage product: o Unpack and inspect the storage product to be rack mounted, including any rack attachment hardware o If required, attach rack-mount hardware to the rack and/or storage product, as per the rack installation guide. • Mount the product into the rack. • Route and connect power cord(s) to the customer provided power outlets and ensure basic unit power-up. • Remove all packaging to a customer-designated area within the immediate location of the installation or arrange with the customer for customer removal. Design: 1. Review technical information requirements and obtain the technical configuration information from the customer. 2. Verify that the existing hosts meet the minimum hardware and software requirements. 3. Create/modify a design document with customer specific configuration information, including: a) Define the virtualization requirements. b) Define/confirm that the configuration meets the minimum hardware and software requirements for the environment. Planning: 1. Review this Service Description with the customer to ensure the understanding of the scope of work. 2. Review the site environmental and technical readiness requirements. 3. Confirm readiness review and installation dates and highlight stringent dependencies on complete customer site readiness and product ship dates to meet the planned installation schedule. 4. Ensure that customer reviews, accepts, and abides by the terms and conditions set forth in this Service Description. Implementation and testing: 1. Validate environment to ensure all requirement are met for the solution. 2. Configure the hosts: - a) HQ: ESXi hypervisor installation on 1xR740. HQ server has to be able to access both Sites SAN storage. b) LDC: ESXi hypervisor installation on 1xR740. LDC server has to be able to access both Sites SAN storage. 3. Performance monitoring and fine tuning. 4. User Acceptance Test (UAT). Work Location : Singapore & Malaysia Visa : will be provided by the company -- work/b1 Project Duration: 6+ months Hire : ASAP
