Design me a logo

I am MD of a small consulting company that is in the process of rebranding. We do community development work, mostly in mainland Southeast Asia, but we are looking to potentially expand globally, so we do not want anything that ties us to Asia. We provide a link between communities, both rural and urban, and our clients, who are from the private sector, government agencies, NGOs, multi-nationals, who want to DO something in or for these communities. I am interested in seeing a logos that reference the communication part of our work, as well as the communities aspect. We have a lot of interaction with local people, and are aware that the people in the communities in which we work are very diverse - age, gender, race, ethnicity, occupation, socio-economic status... Ideally we would have something inclusive, that relates to many different kinds of people at a local level, but is professional enough for our clients to relate to too. The logo will be used on our website, business cards, t-shirts and work shirts for our staff, as well as other promotional materials. We may also be in the market for other smaller project logos, and potentially some website or brochure design. We would be interested in establishing a relationship with someone who can work with us as our company progresses and expands.
