Experienced Crypto Analyst/Market Researcher

We are looking for a passionate expert in the cryptocurrency markets who understands blockchain assets and cryptocurrency trading. The successful candidate must be familiar with technical and regulatory details of emerging economies and can lead evaluation of new infrastructure innovations in the space. You will work with us remotely completing different tasks. Responsibilities: - Hyper active in research and communication in the cryptocurrency markets by listening into news, actively monitoring price movements, and updates. This includes communicating with relevant cryptocurrency groups to effectively collect data and then synthesising into meaningful actionable insights - Work closely with the trading team to execute trades and continually find trading opportunities - Reasoning through the emerging short trends and identifying non-obvious opportunities for trading - Validate internal investment theories with available market data to deliver a probability based narrative to execute trades - Screening projects by reading protocol specifications and evaluating the technical teams What you will require: - 2 years research experience in the financial markets - Must be actively in the crypto market over the last 2 years - Must own crypto and has traded crypto since early 2018 - Must be actively involved in networking in the crypto trade community via the various social media platforms and actively engage as part of the research. This includes platforms such as Telegram - Needs to be involved in the relevant industry communication channels - Should understand slang terminology used in the industry and have a high ability to communicate - Needs to have a strong understanding on the correlation between the news and price movements - Needs to spend at least 3-5 hours each day reading crypto news and has been actively monitoring the market for the last 6 months You will be required to work on multiple tasks under short deadlines.
